We have been working with this client for nearly 10 years now and have been an integral part of their growth into a market leading Fireplace supplier and installer

During that time we have helped them rebrand from Gasworld to The Fireplace Studio, have been part of their move to an ultra modern Fireplace Studio in Bramcote, and have helped their business move towards a higher end retailer specialising in Media Wall Fireplace projects.

Regularly achieving 8,000 website visitors per month , this is their sole form of marketing and brings in a good level and quality of enquiries across the range of services they offer.

The Brief

We launched a new website for TFS around a year ago now to elevate the quality and value of enquiries they receive. This was designed to target people looking at a Fireplace as more of a lifestyle choice and not just for heating. This has followed the growth in the “Media Wall Fireplace” sector which encompasses more building projects including room dividers, 2-3 sided Fireplaces, double sided and tunnel fireplaces. The success of this website has been reflected in TFS having a record year in terms of turnover and sales, and the average order value doubling!

I have been working with Paul Dodsworth for over ten years and I have to say he has played a pivotal role in the development and success of our business. Google Rankings

Since the introduction of the new website and a new marketing team working on the site, the Google Rankings have improved dramatically. See below a screenshot from SEM Rush that tracks the website’s Visibility over the last 18 months , showing a 17% increase in visibility.

Furthermore, the average position on Google has risen from over 50 to 4.86 which is an incredible progression and has resulted in an increased volume of enquiries for the client.

Post Code Checker

With the website now ranking nationally for certain keywords, the client has actually encountered an issue whereby they are getting enquiries and people calling for information on their products and services from all over the UK ! This has given TFS a challenge in that it is tying their staff up on general enquiries for people in locations they can’t service. TFS’s business model is supply and installation so they follow the whole project through so they can only provide this service within around an hour drivetime

The challenge was how do we overcome this and get rid of relevant calls and enquiries from out of area?

The solution was to develop a Postcode checker which enables potential clients to see if they cover their location. The client was after 3 options, Yes, No and Maybe. This has now been launched and received over 600 uses in the first month dramatically cutting down wasted / irrelevant calls for TFS and has been a great success

We are currently working on uplifting the TFS branding across all platforms so that it is consistent and are working on an interactive quote form, the email signature / footer, and also a new design wrap for the vehicles. Please see an example of the new vehicle wrap below
